[Helma-dev] Proudly announcing Helma 1.3 alpha 0

Hi folks,

I put out a preview/alpha release of Helma/Rhino, referred to as Helma 
1.3-alpha-0.

This code can do a lot of the things that Helma 1.2 does, except that it 
does them with Rhino rather than with FESI. I am able to run Antville 
mostly without any hitches - everything works except that the skinpath 
is not yet honored. You will have to make a few modifications to the 
application in order to get them running with the Rhino version of 
JavaScript. If desired, I can provide some hints.

I added a new 1.3 alpha version to our bugzilla at 
http://helma.org/bugs/ . Please report any bugs you see, even if you 
think they're trivial (most are). That way we have the biggest chance to 
fix them quickly.

Attached to this message is a compat.js file. Put it in the global 
directory to make the transition from old applications less painful.
